COSTA BL 1350 Denibbing Sander, 4-Head – 53″;
4-Head, 53″ width cap. Denibbing Sander with (2) cross-brushes and (2) rotary brushes.
- 1st & 2nd Head:Cross-Brush units with a horizontally rotating belt across the width of the conveyor that is supporting a series of evenly spaced little brush units with abrasive paper; they are adjustable to vary the angle of contact on the panel.
- During the rotation of the belt, the (painter like) brushes with abrasive strips make contact with the workpieces from both sides as it rotates.
- Variable cross-brush speed with inverter control from 3 – 26 FPS, 3 HP motor each head.
- 3rd & 4th Heads:Rotary brush with abrasive strips of different widths and available in different grits.
- Each brush unit is composed of interchangeable abrasive strips with variable back supports. 13″ Dia. brushes, brush RPM inverted controlled from 130 – 1,300 FPM, 3 HP motor each head.
- Brushesare also adjustable on an angle to the travel direction of the conveyor belt.
- Conveyor belt feed with inverter control, 16 – 82 FPM; vacuum conveyor bed for firm holddown of parts being sanded.Equipped with & Features:
